2023 Annual Closing Ceremony
August 4th, 2023 at 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm EDT
Girls For A Change participants find it hard to say goodbye to friends, staff, and their “second home” after six long weeks at Camp Diva. Let’s celebrate the power of girls trying new things, discovering themselves and celebrating sisterhood over these past weeks. On Friday , we close out our summer programs with a banquet dinner, awards, and our MC for the day Coach Nickey.
We will also be joined by our Girl Ambassador participants who have engaged in year round career development and on the job training.
Staff and participants will take memorable photos, perform songs and skits that uplift our spirits as we all try to avoid the inevitable goodbye. Afterwards you may join us for a celebration catered by The Kitchen Magician.
A ticket purchase covers a donation towards the Every Black Girl fund which pays it forward to Camp Diva Scholarship that we give out during the summer. This donations allows girls like yours to access summer camp and keeps it at an affordable costs for our community.
