GAT: The World of Japanese Samurai
March 20th at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm EDT
In partnership with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, participants will be led by Coach Nickey on an exploration that takes them into the world of Japanese Samurai. Along the way they will learn about the history of Samurai and how this history ties into art, culture, and Blackness. Participants will join together to create and craft a stunning visual project about the history of Samurai.
Open to all girls in grades Rising 9th-12th
