Camp Diva Leadership Academy
June 1st, 2026 – July 10th, 2026 EDT

For more than 20 years, Camp Diva Leadership Academy has been a space where Black girls build sisterhood, grow their confidence, and step fully into their leadership—in a world that too often tries to box them in, push them around, or throw them away.
A Richmond-founded and Richmond-based summer program from Girls For A Change, Camp Diva has served over 3,000 participants through a culturally curated experience rooted in identity, purpose, and power. In our space, being a Black girl isn’t a barrier—it’s a superpower.
This is more than a summer camp.
This is preparation for the world, and a space where the world learns to prepare for Black girls.
We welcome rising 6th through 9th-grade self-identifying Black girls, offering a powerful journey of self-discovery and community building. Participants explore identity, creativity, sisterhood, leadership, and what it means to grow up in a world that doesn’t always see them clearly, but needs their light.
Our Mission in Bloom program—exclusively for rising 9th-grade participants—deepens that journey. It equips girls to enter high school and beyond with the confidence, resources, and strategic support to thrive in any room they walk into.
Camp Diva is a launchpad.
A sanctuary.
A movement in motion.
It’s where Black girls don’t just find their voice—
They learn how to use it. Together.
